em has been living and working in our nation's capital since 2003. a native of washington d.c, she graduated with an undergraduate degree in poltical science (et french literature) from the university of the south.

when she's not reminiscing about her glory days in rural tennessee; em enjoys seeing live music of all varieties, knitting, watching premiere league football, or people watching at her favorite dive bar.

she lives just outside the city limits, in a tiny apartment with her constant terrier companion finn.
